ESSENTIAL DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES
- Perform an inside sales function and communicate with customers regarding the ordering process, returns, special quotes, etc.
- Communicate with customers regarding orders/returns; establishing terms, pricing, appropriate products for the application
- Prep estimating quotes for engineering and construction
- Process orders in the company information system
- Serve as the key contact between the company and its customers
- Assist Service and Accounting departments with their customer contacts as needed
- Provide timely and accurate information for incoming customer order status
- Product knowledge requests, processing customers' orders and providing timely feedback.
REQUIRED SKILLS
- Mature and reliable
- Strong verbal and written communication skills
- Professional personal presentation
- Ability to work efficiently
- Must be very organized and have the ability to multitask
- Strong attention to detail
- Must be able to type 35 words per minute minimum
EDUCATION AND/OR EXPERIENCE
- High school diploma or GED
- 3-4 years of office related administrative and clerical experience
- 3-4 years of computers and relevant software applications experience
- 3-4 years of office related customer service principles and practices experience
- 3-4 years of Microsoft Word and Excel
- Leadership qualities and ability to delegate and manage time efficiently
