Direct Bury Enclosure

There are times when it may be beneficial to install a Dairyland decoupler entirely underground. Some of the various reasons could include: deterring theft or vandalism, minimizing lead distance to buried isolated joints, or simply, not wanting anything visible above ground.

    • ENCL-DB-PCRX (for use with 5kA or 10kA-rated PCRX)
    • ENCL-DB-PCRX-15KA (for use with 15kA-rated PCRX)
    • ENCL-DB-PCR (for use with 3.7kA, 5kA, or 10kA-rated PCR)
    • ENCL-DB-PCR-15KA (for use with 15kA-rated PCR)
    • Required to be ordered with a decoupler. Factory installation included.

      • Enclosure: LLDPE
      • Cover: HDPE with stainless steel hardware
      • Cord grips: Nylon
    • Size (OD x H): 14 x 19”
    • Watertight to NEMA 6P requirements
    • #2 AWG insulated conductors (36” long) for customer connection (with 3.7kA, 5kA, 10kA-rated decoupler)
    • 2/0 AWG insulated conductors (36” long) for customer connection (with 15kA-rated decoupler)
