Model CT 25-3 is used for testing small sections of galvanically protected gas distribution systems, underground structures, and pipelines. The CT 25-3 was specifically designed to carry out current demand surveys on pipeline segments of gas distribution systems or small underground structures, protected with directly connected galvanic anodes.

    • Recharging is unnecessary (the unit uses 9V batteries).
    • Rechargeable 9 V batteries can be installed if desired.
    • Integrated voltage and current meters, increasing ease of use. (not for calibrated readings)
    • Easy connection to a calibrated, external volt meter (for output voltage, current and structure potential if connected to a reference electrode).
    • Shunt reading 1 mV=1 mA (no conversion necessary).
    • Adjustable output voltage (from minimum = 1.5 VDC up to maximum of 25.0 VDC, approx.).
    • Off button to check polarization response.
    • Reliable and easy to operate.
    • Durable plastic case protects instrument from impact.
    • Wide range of voltages is especially useful for temporary anode beds where high resistance is common.
    • 3 Amp maximum current.
